Descaling with the BEEM Premium Descaler Concentrate
1. Fill the water tank (6) up to the MAX marking with a concentrate/water solution of no more
than 1:20 (one part concentrate to 20 parts water). There should be at least 1 litre in the
water tank.
2. Make sure that the drip tray (13) is empty and is 昀椀tted in the device correctly and the porta-
昀椀lter (16) with the double sieve insert (21) has been inserted in the porta昀椀lter mount (10)
(see the "Preparation of the Device" chapter).
3. Place a suitable vessel under the porta昀椀lter and under the steam nozzle (9).
4. Touch and hold the 昀椀elds
process. The control lamp DESCALE (26) 昀氀ashes and the display (27) indicates the number
of cups already prepared.
As soon as the control lamp DESCALE (26) 昀氀ashes, perform the following steps within the next
60 seconds:

descaling process to be continued.
7. Empty the water tank and re昀椀ll it with clear water.

Storage
Disconnect the device from the mains power when you are not going to use it for a prolonged
period. Clean the device again if necessary (see the "Cleaning and Care" chapter) and let it dry
completely.
Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from direct
sunlight and cannot be accessed by children or animals.
