Operating instruction – method and instructions for use
Lubricate the inside with Vaseline so that the plaster can later be easily removed. The Palajet singleflask (1 model) or the
Palajet Duoflask (1 – 2 models) can be used depending on the number of models. The placeholder can be used to save plaster
if the Palajet Duoflask is used with only one model.
The fabricated wax denture is embedded with the injection channel positioned at the maxillary tuberculum on the upper jaw
or the retromolar triangle on the lower jaw. Remove excess plaster and smooth the surface. Clean excess plaster from the edges
of the flask. Use plaster type 3 for embedding.
Applying channel wax:
After the plaster has hardened, attach the wax for the injection channel (
channel (not required for Paladon
Position the ventilation channel (with
triangle (when using the single flask opposite the injection channel), choosing the shortest distance to the ventilation channel.
If two models are used in the Palajet Duoflask, the dentures must be connected with an injection channel on the opposite side
of the injection opening in the tuber area.
Insulate the plaster surface with Aislar
Place the flask halves on top of each other and firmly screw them together with the included spanner (do not use a hammer
on brass flasks). Fill in plaster through the flask opening so the teeth are covered and leave to harden. Remove excess material
so the flask fits between the centring disks of the Palajet.
7.3
Isolation
After the plaster has hardened, preheat the flask in hot water (approximately 90°C (194°F)) without chemical additives in order
to soften the wax, separate the flask halves after about 5 minutes and remove the remaining wax with clean hot water. Thinly
insulate the plaster at the contact area to the denture plastic twice (allowing each layer to dry) with Aislar
of pools).
After isolation of the plaster roughen the basal area of the teeth with a coarse diamond (remove sanding dust). To improve the
bond between the teeth and the denture plastic, apply Palabond
30 seconds. After the second layer the adhesive will remain active for 10 minutes.
Close both flask halves firmly and insert the flask into the Palajet.
NOTE
The sealing surface of the vent seal of the Palajet apparatus should not contact the opening of the flask's ventilation
closure.

Preparing acrylic
Prior to the mixing procedure unscrew the cylinder cover from the fill cylinder and insert the fill cylinder cartridge. In order
to receive the acrylic dough, the seal disk with the sealing lip showing upwards must be pressed into the fill cylinder cartridge
(as far as it will go). The cover cartridge will be inserted into the cylinder cover.

Remove air bubbles by swinging the mixing cup. When working with PalaXpress
in a thin jet without bubbles into the prepared fill cylinder cartridge.
NOTE
To avoid inhomogeneities do not wipe off the mixing cup on the surface of the fill cylinder cartridge.
