Lighting & Operating Instructions for Use
with Hose Connected to a Remote Cylinder,
Maximum Size 20 Lb.
The Propane (LP) cylinder must also be equipped
with the following:
– A collar to protect the gas valve.
– A shut-off valve terminating a LP cylinder valve
outlet as specified in the American National
Standard for Compressed Gas Cylinder Valve
Outlets and Inlets Connections.
– A safety relief valve having direct
communications with the vapor space of the
LP cylinder.
– Do not store a spare propane gas cylinder
under or near this appliance.
– Never fill the cylinder beyond 80% full.
– Place the dust cap on the cylinder valve outlet
whenever the cylinder is not in use. Only install
the type of dust cap on the cylinder valve
that is provided with the cylinder valve. Other
types of caps or plugs may result in leakage of
propane.
– The heater must operate on vapor withdrawal
from the operating cylinder.
– Heater must be in an upright position during
operation.
!
DANGER: NEVER bring a refillable propane
cylinder indoors. A fire or explosion can
occur causing property damage, serious
injury or death!
– Inspect the hose before each use. If there
is excessive abrasion or wear, or the hose is
cut, replace prior to use. Keep hose out of
pathways where people may trip over it or or
in areas where the hose may be subject to
accidental damage.
