INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
11. The people at the sides of the patient will use 1 hand to mold the support around
the patient's shoulders, while taking care not to press the Hug-U-Vac® against the
brachial plexus area or the patients face. They should also use their waist to
contour the Hug-U-Vac® to the patient's upper arms and their free hand to fold
the hand section up to secure the patients hands. Make certain the positioner
does not impinge on the surgical field.
12. Once the Hug-U-Vac® has been properly positioned, check that the valve is
open, attach surgical suction to the valve and begin evacuating the positioner.
