NOTE
* : The A-63600 Allen Shoulder Supports are only for backup in the unanticipated
event the Hug-U-Vac® positioner loses suction during a case. They should not
otherwise influence the positioning of the patient.
15. Position A-63600 Allen Secondary Supports on the OR table behind the Hug-U-
Vac®. Locate the supports such that they are aligned with the shoulders, while
being sure to avoid the brachial plexus. Place the OR table in Steep
Trendelenburg and allow the patient to settle into position.
16. Readjust the shoulder supports so the pads are lightly resting on the the Hug-U-
Vac® positioner (no compression of A-63600 pads visible).
