INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
17. While still in Steep Trendelenburg, check for clearance of the brachial plexus area
and relieve pressure off the shoulders by slightly retracting the positioner away
from the patient's shoulders. Ensure shoulder supports are only lightly touching
Hug-U-Vac® after adjustment.
18. If pressure is present on the shoulders or the brachial plexus area, loosen the
shoulder supports and repeat step 15 and16.
WARNING! Once the desired form is obtained around the patient, DO
NOT leave suction applied to the device. Close the Hug-U-Vac valve and
stop suction during the procedure. After the procedure is completed,
release the Hug-U-Vac valve and allow air to return into the device.
