6 MAINTENANCE
6.1 Cleaning the rooftop air conditioner
CAUTION! Risk of damage!
•
Do not clean the rooftop air conditioner with a pressure washer. Water
infiltration may damage the internal components.
•
Do not use any sharp or hard objects or aggressive cleaning agents to
wash the appliance, as these could damage the rooftop air conditioner.
•
Only use water and a mild detergent. Never use petrol, diesel or sol-
vents.
•
Regularly remove leaves and dirt from the air vents on the rooftop air
conditioner. Be careful not to damage the slats of the roof-mounted air
conditioner.
Internal cleaning:
•
Occasionally wipe the housing of the roof air conditioner and the
exhaust air unit with a damp microfibre cloth. Caution: the glossy
surface is easily scratched!
•
Routinely clean the remote control with a slightly damp cloth. A cloth for
cleaning lenses recommended to clean the display.
