3 INSTALLATION

3.6 Fixing the device

Unscrew the M6 threaded grub screws from the holes in the frame.
Depending on the thickness of the roof, use screws of the correct length
(see table).
Screw the two fixing brackets onto the unit using the 4 screws (with
thread sealant) supplied. Tightening torque 1–1.2 Nm Secure screws
with low-strength thread sealant (e.g. Loctite).
WARNING! Respect the length of the screw, if longer it may not gua-
rantee tightening, if shorter it may not guarantee the tightness of the screw.
If screws are used repeatedly (e.g. after disassembly), reapply
low-strength thread sealant (e.g. Loctite) to screws or use available screws
as a replacement.
