Automatic speed (
The roof air conditioner confirms receipt of the values by emitting a
high-pitched acoustic signal. The temperature and ventilation speed in the
roof air conditioning system is set.
When "automatic speed" is selected, the air conditioner will automatically
select the most appropriate mode to achieve the set temperature.
Once the set temperature has been reached, the fan speed is reduced to
a minimum.
The function will only be activated if the set temperature is higher than the
ambient temperature.
When the heating mode is first switched on, the air conditioner may emit a
bad smell due to the electric heating element protection oils. This effect is
normal and tends to disappear after 10–15 minutes of operation.
Ventilate the room during this transitory phase.
Electric heating element cooling function.
When switching off or during transitions between higher and lower speeds,
including the sleep function, for a limited time (approx. 90 sec) the internal
fan may continue to operate at a speed other than the set one in order to
cool the heating elements and prevent damage caused by excessive heat.
The heating element cooling phase is predominant with respect to other
set cycles, which will only be activated at the end of the cooling function.
Do not disconnect the power at these stages to avoid damaging the air
conditioner.
Defrost function.
On models with a heat pump, during normal operation, if the sensor on
the evaporator reaches a temperature that allows ice to form on the eva-
