06 Û FLUSH FUNCTION
The FLUSH function allows to run a cleaning cycle on the irrigation circuit of the handpiece used
during the treatment, by following the steps described in this chapter.
CAUTION: FLUSH function. The
FLUSH function must be used after every
treatment, before starting the cleaning and
sterilization procedures.
06 Û FLUSH FUNCTION
CAUTION: If the tubes are not cleaned,
the crystallization of the salts may seriously
damage the device.
Fill in the bottle with water, possibly

deminaralized water.
Connect the bottle to the device;
Position the handpiice, with or without

insert, above a container to contain the
liquid that will outflow during the cleaning
cycle;
To enter the flushing mode, select PUMP/

FLUSH menu on the touch keyboard: all
the other selection options present on the
display are disabled;
PLEASE NOTE You can exit the flushing
mode at any time by pressing PUMP/FLUSH
menu, the keyboard is enabled again, and
displays the last setting used;
To make the FLUSH function start while the

PUMP/FLUSH writing is flashing, press the
foot pedal once and release it: the screen
stops flashing and the cleaning cycle starts;
PLEASE NOTE: the FLUSH function can be
interrupted at any time by pressing the
PUMP/FLUSH writing again or, alternatively,
by pressing on foot pedal. The keyboard is
enabled again, and displays the last setting
used;
