Important fitting notes
Note. The vehicle must be clean, preferably after being washed in a
car wash.
In order to correctly bond the rear bumper spoiler (hereafter simply referred to as the
"bumper spoiler") to the vehicle, the ambient temperature, the vehicle temperature and
the temperature of the components to be fitted must be between 18 and 30 °C. Protect the
components from direct sunlight (fig. 1).
Caution. During fitting, ensure the work area is adequately ventilated
– the cleaning agents contain dangerous fumes.
Carry out the final bumper spoiler surface treatment for the appropriate colour hue in accord-
ance with the information provided by the paint manufacturer.
Note. Protect the bumper spoiler's adhesive surface – it must not be
painted. When carrying out painting work, health and safety princi-
ples must to be observed.
During the preliminary work, always lay the bumper spoiler on a soft, clean surface, in order to
avoid causing damage.

› Place the vehicle on the arm of the workshop lifting platform and raise it accordingly.
› Cut out the ridge on the underside of the diffuser and dispose of it as sorted waste.

› Remove the four screws on the underside of the diffuser and put them to one side.

› Remove the diffuser from the rear bumper and then disconnect the sensor plug.

› Unclip the sensors from the brackets and put them to one side.

› Cut out the parking sensor brackets from the diffuser.
