› Use sandpaper (grain 80) to roughen the groove that is provided for the bonding in the
upper area of the bumper spoiler (A) and the side sections of the bumper spoiler (the areas
shown in the figure).
› Then clean and degrease the roughened surfaces with the Terostat 8550 cleaning agent.
Leave to dry for 10 minutes.
Note. The adhesive surface must be completely free from grease,
primer, paint residues and any other contamination.

› When adhering the bumper spoiler using Betamate 2810 adhesive sealant, apply Betawipe
4000 activator (K) to the highlighted surfaces on the bumper spoiler (A). Leave to dry for 10
minutes.

› Cut the adhesive sealant nozzle (J or L) in accordance with the figure, so that the inner di-
ameter of the nozzle is approx. 8 mm. Apply the adhesive sealant in a circle to the prepared
surfaces of the bumper spoiler.
Note. Apply the adhesive sealant in the groove so that the adhesive
sealant leaks out slightly after the bumper spoiler is pressed onto
the bumper.

› Move the prepared bumper spoiler to the correct position on the bumper in accordance with
the description in figure 12.
› Check the correct position of the bumper spoiler in accordance with the lines shown.
› Press the bumper spoiler onto the bumper and the adhesive surfaces. Use body adhesive
tape to secure the bumper spoiler to several points.
› To rule out the chance of the applied adhesive sliding outside the specified surface, you
must prevent the bumper spoiler from moving after it is glued. After pressing the bumper
spoiler onto the bumper, a small amount of adhesive must leak out along the entire length.
› Two people are required to carry out this operation.

› Now screw the removed screws and the two screws (H) from the set back in, in the order
and in the positions shown in the figure.
Note. Ensure that the difference between the screw types is taken
into account.
