Once the component has been bonded, the vehicle must be stored in a protected room for
24 hours (temperature between 18 and 30 °C).
Note. After six hours (P1 adhesive sealant) or after one hour (Beta-
mate adhesive sealant), use a plastic putty knife to remove the
residual adhesive sealant that has been pushed out around the
bonded component and use a suitable cleaning agent to clean it.
Remove the cover cap for the towing lug, clean it with a suitable
cleaning agent and reinsert it into the opening in the bumper spoiler.
If the adhesive tape is disturbed while cleaning the component, the
tape must be removed, the surface must be cleaned and then fresh
tape attached.
The vehicle must not be moved for the remaining time – the adhesive
sealant must dry properly. Once this time has elapsed, remove the
adhesive tapes.
