All the settings should be done with a torque wrench. Excessive tightening of the stem may lead to the destruction
of the fork's pivot and can have serious consequences! Please respect the advised tightening torques.
On the LOOK C-Stem, the height setting
is done through a rotation system at stem
tightening level on the fork's pivot.
Thanks to this system, you will no longer
have to add spacer rings on the fork's pivot.
When you get your frame, the HSC7 fork
pivot is not cut. In this long version, you will
only be able to reach the upper positions
(those corresponding to heights reachable
by adding between 20 to 50 mm of spacer
rings on a traditional stem).
If while doing your settings, the lowest

position that you can reach with the long fork
pivot is still too high, you will need to cut the
fork pivot (positions corresponding to those
reachable by adding 0 to 30 mm of spacer
rings on a traditional stem).
