STEM DISASSEMBLY
If when doing the settings, you cannot
reach the desired stem height, you will have
to reverse the tightening stoppers in the
following way:
• Completely remove
disconnect it from the tightening stopper.
• Repeat steps 5 to 8 of the 'Stem assembling
and mounting chapter' by reversing the
tightening stoppers.
NOTE: it may happen that only one of the
two tightening stoppers is displaced. In this
case, take the stem and make it do rotation
movements in relation to the fork pivot's
axis. If in spite of the movements, the second
stopper remains sunk in its housing, take a
mallet and lightly tap on the cleared stopper
until the other one clears in turn.

Safety note :
Check the positioning of the tightening
stoppers (4 & 5) before every ride. If they
overshoot the sides of the stem's body
(3), their tightening is no longer assured
and you must imperatively retighten the
tightening stoppers (9) (FIG 7).
Disassemble them and apply some lock
tight Loctite® 243 type Freinfilet®normal
on the threaded part before reassembling
the tightening stoppers (4 & 5) following
the steps described above.
