(e.g. muscle activity, placement of the pressure sensor on
bony protrusions, shape and circumference of the extremity,
elasticity of the compression material) have a direct impact on
the pressure values displayed. This means that the measured
values are constantly fluctuating. They can therefore merely
be seen as a guide. Thus, measurement of compression using
the Juzo Pressure Monitor must never replace observation of
the patient (e.g. mention of pain, noticeably pale and / or cold
extremity).

ly with a lot of clean water. Make sure you avoid contact with
your eyes. In the case of contact, consult a doctor immediately!
General use
The device has been exclusively designed to measure the
pressure of compression rolls or adjustable compression
devices. Do not exert excessive pressure when inserting
the positioning aid under compression garments. The
Juzo Pressure Monitor is not suitable for the pressure measure-
ment of compression stockings.
The Juzo Pressure Monitor has been designed to be used by
specifically trained medical professionals only.
Compression measurement must never replace patient obser-
vation (e.g. mention of pain, pale and / or cold extremity).
Do not leave the device unattended within the reach of small
children.
Use the sensor unit on undamaged skin only.
Do not exert excessive pressure when inserting the positioning
aid under compression garments.
Do not take the control unit apart.
The Luer-Lock connecting hose, pressure sensor and position-
ing aid make up the sensor unit. Do not take them apart!
The Luer-Lock connector has been exclusively designed to
connect the control unit with the sensor unit.
The disposable protective covers have been exclusively
designed for the sensor unit. They protect the pressure sensor
and help with hygiene. Use a new protective cover for each
patient.
The Juzo Pressure Monitor has not been designed for long-
term patient measurements.

note the battery requirements in the battery compartment.
Then connect the Luer-Lock screw cap at the end of the air
hose with the control unit. Ensure that the connection has
been screwed on tightly and cannot become loose by itself.
