TROUBLESHOOTING HSB
Engine will not crank/turn over

HSB set in "OFF" mode.

Place the HSB controllers in the AUTO position.
Connect the batteries according to owner's manual, clean and tighten
the battery connections
Recharge or replace battery(s).
Identify fault code, correct and reset.
Check either single or dual generator ON/OFF switches are in the ON
position (inside on 100515 and 100304, on the back for 100304).
Identify fault code, correct and reset.
Turn on fuel supply.
Manometer check, confirm fuel pressure to fuel regulator*.
Recharge or replace battery(s)
Check for oil leaks. Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
Connect spark plug wire.
Manometer check, confirm fuel pressure to fuel regulator*.
Check jets for NG or LPG, change to correct Master Mixer fuel jets.
Change spark plug, set gap, connect wire.
Clean or replace air cleaner.
Remove one or more loads*.
Identify fault code, correct and reset.
Manometer check, confirm fuel pressure to fuel regulator*.
Check for oil leaks. Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
Turn off standby circuits for house, reset fault, place unit back into
AUTO and ATS mode. Turn on standby circuits for house. If problem
returns contact Champion or Champion service dealer*.
Check all intake and exhaust ventilation around the HSB, remove all
debris. Let HSB sit for 30 minutes to cool down.
