3. GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Do not pour corrosive liquids (chemicals, cleaning products) or abrasive products.
- Do not expose the pump or the filter to frost.
- Do not use the pump or the filter without water.
- Never carry the pump or the filter by its cable and never pull the cable to disconnect it.
- Do not modify the inside of the pump or the filter.
- While the pump or the filter is running, do not touch the pump or the filter and objects in
contact with water (e.g. objects in water, handrails, etc.).
- The water supplied with this unit is not drinking water
- Do not pump fats, oils and salt water.
- Do not pump wastewater from sanitary facilities and silty water with a lower flow capacity
than clear water. Always check the quality of the water before introducing it into the pump or
the filter.
- The machines indicated in this manual are specially designed for pre-filtering and
recirculation of swimming pool water.
- They are designed to operate with clean water at temperatures not exceeding 35°C.
- Install them according to the instructions specific to each installation.
- Comply with the regulations in force regarding accident prevention.
- Any modification to the pump or the filter requires the prior authorization of the
manufacturer. Genuine spare parts and accessories authorised by the manufacturer guarantee
greater safety. The pump or the filter manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused
by unauthorized spare parts or accessories.
- When working on each machine or on the units linked to it, disconnect the unit from the
power supply and starting devices, as the electrical parts of the pump are energised during
operation.
- All assembly and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified and authorised
personnel who have carefully read the installation and maintenance instructions.
- To ensure safety when operating the machine, you must comply with what is stated in the
installation and maintenance instructions.
- In case of faulty operation or anomalies, contact your supplier or their nearest
representative.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their repair
agent or a person of similar qualification in order to avoid any danger.
WARNINGS DURING INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY WORK
The equipment must be connected to an AC power supply (see data on pump plate) with
a ground connection, protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated operating
