Setting position for vertical cuts

Set the desired saw blade speed on the TAS165PRO

cutting positions (0 (1); 1m (2); 2m(3)) and fix it with
manual fixation. To do this, move the saw unit
horizontally until the bolt is exactly above the holding
device then activate the fixation by pressing down the
foot pedal Pos1 in Pos2 (bolt is fixed in holding device)
and thus saw unit is locked in the selected vertical
position. (= no movement to the left and right
possible)
The exact cutting position for the plate can be set by
positioning the plate with the aid of the scale (7)
e.g.:
(1) Fixation position 0 selected. Measuring stop in
position 840 mm Plate is cut to 840 mm.
(2) Fixing position 1m selected: measuring stop in
position 200 mm plate is cut to 1,200 mm.
To do this, fold down the measuring stop (4 or 5).
Release the lever (6) so that the measuring stop (4 or
5) can be moved to the desired position (scale (7)) and
then fix the position by tightening the lever. Saw is in
position vertically Pos4_v (if this is not the case, this
position can be done by unlocking the knob (A) and
turning the saw into the appropriate position.
To move the saw unit in the vertical direction, the
lever (8) must be unlocked.
