Faults: causes and remedies
Fault
The motor does not start
after pressing the ON/
OFF switch or stops during
operation.
The automatic circuit
breaker on the electrical
distribution board trips.
The magnetic clamp does
not function.
The lubrication system
does not function.

Possible cause
Plug not inserted into the
mains socket.
Automatic circuit breaker
tripped.
The magnetic clamp is not
switched on.
The internal safety switch
has switched off the machine
due to overheating.
Direction of rotation not
selected.
The torque cut-off has
tripped.
Too many appliances con-
nected to the same power
circuit.
The machine is defective.
Magnet not switched on.
The surface is not magnetic.
No lubricant available.
Lubricant tap closed.
Connecting nipple clogged.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Insert the plug.
Switch on the automatic circuit
breaker again.
Switch on the magnetic clamp.
Allow the machine to cool
down.
Select direction of rotation.
Switch the machine off and on
again.
Reduce the number of applian-
ces on the power circuit.
Contact the after-sales service.
Switch on magnet.
Use a suitable base.
Top up the lubricant.
Open the lubricant tap.
Clean the tank and nipple.
