INSTRUCTION MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
An essential tool for measuring the high pres-
sure generated in the common rail injection
system from Diesel engines. It has a variety of
adapters for different specifications and con-
nections that can measure different types of
diesel engines.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully this owner's manual before
using the product.
Failure to comply with these ins-
tructions could result in personal
injury and/or damage
to the product.
Please keep the instructions for
future reference.
• WARNING! Be cautious around fuel systems
and follow health and safety regulations when
using tools.
• Wear protective eye protection, overalls, and
gloves when working on high pressure common
rail systems.
• Make sure to test it with cold engine.
• Check for leaks visually and wait for 20 minu-
tes for the system to de-pressurize.
• Please pay close attention when loosening or
tightening nuts on common rail systems.
• Turn off ignition when disconnecting electrical
components.
• Avoid cracking fuel lines, checking engine
leaks, wearing jewellery, tying back hair, using
damaged tools, leaving tools near engine, and
returning tools to storage after use.

OPERATION
The kit allows for a variety of tests to be con-
ducted:
- Engine cranking/running pressure test
- Maximum pump pressure test
- Pump pressure regulator test
Engine cranking/running pressure test
This test will allow the engine to operate as
normal giving the actual fuel pressure reading.
To start a vehicle, locate the high-pressure
pipe from the pump to the fuel rail or injector if
access is difficult.
With fuel system de-pressurised, disconnect
accessible high-pressure pipe and connect
gauge with either M12 or M14 hoses. Make sure
all hose fittings are tight before proceeding.
