4.10. CONNECTING the PowerNET P-600
"Electricity can kill or cause a wide variety of injures, including severe burning. The
electrical energy action can hurt the skin (burning), muscles, heart (cardiac arrest),
blood vessels and respiratory system.
The PowerNET P-600 has not a "ON/OFF" key, he is on at the moment he is
energized. To turn on the PowerNET P-600 in bench or lab you should connect an
auxiliary feeding through the cables identified with the rings FF and FN in a power
source or utilizing the alligator to connect to an energized bar , connecting first the
cable identified by the letter FN. The maximum tension for this circuit must be
respected.
To install the PowerNET P-600 on the field, on the network or electrical circuit
to be analyzed, it is recommended to follows these steps:
1. Make the previous configuration of the PowerNET P-600 defining which power
should be registered, registries interval, relationship of PT, current sensors type, etc.
2. For a Plan about how will be connected the tension cables accordingly with the
INSTALLING.
3. Connect the current sensors set to the PowerNET P -600.
4. Connect the tension cables to the electrical circuit to be analyzed.
5. Check if the PowerNET P-600 was initialized.
6. Press the navigation keys until the "Sequence Phase" screen.
7. Check if the phase's sequence indication is correct in display "123", otherwise he
shows the message ">>>".
