Switching on the appliance
To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.
Connect the appliance to the mains power

supply using the master switch-disconnector.
Turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise (pos. 1) to

turn on the plate's internal heating element at
the minimum setting.
Turn the knob (A) to one of the other settings,

to reduce the heating element power to the
level required.
If necessary, turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise

(pos. 2) to turn on the heating element power
in always on mode.
Turn the knob (A) to one of the other settings,

to reduce the heating element power to the
level required.
Turn off
Turn the knob (A) to setting 4 to switch off the

heating elements.
Turn off the automatic switch-disconnector of
2)
the appliance to disconnect it from the elec-
trical mains.
In case of lengthy downtimes, as well as dis-
connecting all supply lines it is also essential
to clean all internal and external parts of the
appliance and the surrounding environment
thoroughly, complying with the Manufacturer's
instructions and the relevant applicable laws.
If the appliance is left inactive for a lengthy pe-
riod, proceed as follows.
Cut off the mains power supply using the ap-

pliance master switch-disconnector.
