3.1.3 Warnings and symbols
Please also observe the following restrictions:
n
Servicing and cleaning work may only be performed by
children under supervision
n
Do not set up the unit within reach of children under the
age of 3 unless they are under supervision
n
Children between the ages of 3 and 8 may only switch
the unit on and off if it is set up in its normal operating
location and installed safely in accordance with the Oper-
ating Instructions
n
Children between the ages of 3 and 8 must not:
– plug in or unplug the unit
– carry out servicing or repair work
n
Children must not be allowed to play with the unit
As a general rule, we recommend that serv-
icing and repair work should not be carried out
by persons in the above groups 1 to 3.
Protective equipment is personal protective clothing intended
to protect the body against the residual risks arising from the
work process.
You will find the following symbols next to all safety notes
and warnings which indicate a danger to persons.
Pay close attention to this information and take particular
care in these circumstances to avoid accidents.
This symbol warns of a hazard point.
This symbol indicates dangerous voltage.
This symbol warns against hot surfaces.
