3.5 Servicing, maintenance and cleaning
3.5.1 Replacing UV lamps
WARNING!
Danger caused by voltage
If you carry out work on the unit while it is con-
nected to the mains, you could receive electric
shocks.
These can cause serious injury.
– Disconnect the unit from the power supply
before carrying out servicing work.
– Secure the unit against being switched
back on unintentionally.
CAUTION!
Light emission due to damage
If the unit is damaged and light is visible as a
result, it must be switched off immediately and
must no longer be operated.
Contact Customer Services immediately (for
contact details, see chapter "Order Data").
WARNING!
Risk of burns from hot surfaces
The UV lamp and the surfaces around it heat
up during operation.
This can lead to slight burns on contact.
– Let the UV lamp cool down for a few
minutes with the device open before
changing it.
