3.4.2 Setting up (castors)

Material damage caused by water
Material damage may result if water penetrates into the inte-
rior of the unit.
This can lead to malfunctions or even render the unit inoper-
able.
n
Do not install the unit in the immediate vicinity of fire-
extinguishing systems.
n
Do not use the unit in a damp or wet environment with
condensation or the possibility of unintentional ingress of
water (e.g. wet or damp rooms)
If all specifications are complied with,
including the set-up and installation instruc-
tions, the unit does not pose a photobiological
threat.
The formation of odours
An odour may develop when the unit is
switched on for the first time. This "new"
smell is normal and disappears after a few
hours of operation.
– For the first few hours, operate the unit in
well aerated and ventilated rooms.
– If a strong odour develops, switch the unit
off and check that all packaging material
has been removed.
Version with castors
This section describes the version of the unit
with castors for flexible set-up on the floor or
other horizontal surface.
If there is a bracket on the rear side of your
unit, the unit is intended for permanent wall or
ceiling installation (see
'Installation' on page 44).
Please observe the following points:

Place the unit on a firm, level surface
n
Position the unit so that it poses no tripping hazard for
other persons (e.g. caused by stumbling over the con-
nection cable)
