1 Install and seat seal (15), heel end first,
into bottom of body (13).
2 Install and seat lantern ring (16), small
diameter end first, into body.
3 Install and seat seal (17), heel end first,
into body.
4 Install and seat bearing (18), small
diameter end first, into body.
5 Install and seat gasket (19) into body.
For all models except 9911-1:
5.1
Screw rod (12) into extension (26)
until pinholes align.
5.2
Secure extension to rod with
roll pin (25).
6 Install ball (29), spring (28),
and spring guide (27), pointed end first,
into piston (30).
For model 9911-1 only:
6.1
Screw piston (30) onto rod (12)
until pinholes align.
6.2
Secure piston to rod with
roll pin (25).
For all models except 9911-1:
6.1
Screw piston (30) onto
extension (26) until pin holes align.
6.2
Secure piston to extension with
roll pin (25).
Steps for model 9979 only:

Screw rod (12) into extension (26)
until pin holes align.

7 Screw primer rod (40) into piston until
pin holes align.
8 Secure piston to primer rod with
roll pin (31).
9 Install and seat bearing (32), seal (33),
heel end first, and additional bearing (32)
into externally threaded end of
lower tube (35).
10 Install and seat gasket (34) into internally
threaded end of upper tube (24).
11 Screw lower tube with threadlocker into
upper tube. Follow thread sealant
manufacturer's recommendations.
Do not tighten at this time.
NOTE
Reduce curing time by using a primer
with threadlocker.
12 Install rod into upper tube (24) until it
protrudes from lower tube (35). Use care
not to damage seal (33).
13 Install seal (37), heel end first, into
foot valve (38).
14 Install stop (36), foot valve, seal end first,
gasket (34), seat (39), small diameter
end first, and additional gasket (34) over
primer rod and into lower tube.
15 Install primer disk (41) onto primer rod.
16 Make sure hole aligns.
17 Install roll pin (42) that secures primer
disk to primer rod.
Install rod and tube into body with a
twisting motion. Use care not to damage
seals.
18 Screw primer body (43) with
19 Install rod and tube into body and at the

21 Place a bar or other suitable tool in holes
