6.3 - REMOVING THE FREEWHEEL BODY
Hold the axle steady by fully inserting a 5 mm Allen wrench on the freewheel side (Fig. 42)
and completely unscrew the nut by turning it clockwise with a 17 mm wrench as shown by the arrow
marked on it; then remove the frewheel body from the axle.
6.4 - REMOVING AND REFITTING THE PAWLS
Remove the spring (taking care not to damage it) by slightly lifting pawl 1 (A - Fig. 43), slide out the pawls
and replace them if necessary, insert the bent part of the spring in the pawl carrier hole and then lock the
pawls with the spring (Fig. 44). Once the spring is installed, the pawls will be raised.
6.5 - FITTING THE FREEWHEEL BODY ON THE HUB
Place the freewheel on the hub and hold it in position, lower the three pawls one by one with the Allen
wrench or with a screwdriver and fully insert the freewheel in its seat (Fig. 45). Tighten the locking screw
with the 17 mm wrench (Fig. 46), holding the axle steady on the freewheel side with a fully inserted 5 mm
Allen wrench (tightening torque: 15 N.m - 11 lb.ft).
