GENERAL DANGER
Indicates danger, even a fatal risk for the User. In such case, you must be extremely
careful and perform all proper actions in order to work in a secured way.
DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION
Tells the personnel that if the described operation has not been properly conducted
in compliance with the safety regulations, an electric shock is at risk.
WARNING
Indicates a warning or a note on key functions or useful information.
Pay careful attention to the blocks of text indicated by this symbol.
PROHIBITION
The presence of this signal indicates the operations that must be absolutely avoided
because they might put in danger the User or people who are working nearby.
PROHIBITION OF PUTTING THE FIRE OFF WITH WATER
The presence of this symbol indicates the prohibition of dousing fi re with water or
any substance that it contains.
PERSONAL PROTECTION
The presence of this symbol next to its description requires the operator to use per-
sonal protection gear in order not to be at risk of unexpected accidents.
SPECIALISED TECHNICIAN
He identifi es the services that must only be performed by the specialised technician
personnel.
1.4.
Warranty
The warranty period lasts 12 months from the date of purchase and applies to all mechanical
and electrical parts. The warranty becomes void if the equipment is misused or tampered with
by non-qualifi ed personnel. Damaged parts are also excluded due to the lack of cleaning the
machine.
This manual is the state-of-the-art of the coff ee machine at the time of marketing. Any change,
improvement, adjustment performed to the marketed machines at a later stage do not hold Bi-
anchi Vending S.p.A. liable to perform any action on the machine previously supplied nor update
the relevant technical documentation supplied.
The data and features indicated in this manual do not bind the manufacturing company which
reserves the right to modify its products at any time. Furthermore, it has no responsibility for the
damages caused to people or to objects because of non-compliance to manual regulations.

SAFETY
2.1.
General Safety Regulations
• The coff ee machine is intended for professional use only. Do not make any technical changes
or use the machine for unauthorised purposes since this would create serious hazards! The
appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, mental or
sensory abilities or with limited experience and/or expertise, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety, or they are instructed by this person on how to properly
use the machine.
• Connection to the electric network should be made in compliance with the safety regulations
in force in the country where the machine is used.
• The socket to which the machine is connected must be:
- Compatible with the type of plug installed on the machine.
- Suitably sized to comply with the data on the data plate on the side of the machine.
- Connected to an effi cient earthing system.
- Connected to a magnetothermal and diff erential system.
• The power cord must not:
- Come into contact with any type of liquid: Danger of electric shocks and/or fi re.
- Be crushed and/or come into contact with sharp surfaces.
- Be used to move the machine.
- Be used if damaged. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or by its authorised service centre.
- Be handled with damp or wet hands or feet.
- Be wound in a coil when the machine is in use.
- Be tampered with.
• It is forbidden to:
- Install the machine other than as described in Section 5.
- Install the machine in a location where water jets may be used.
- Use the machine in proximity to fl ammable and/or explosive materials.
- Leave plastic bags, polystyrene, nails, etc. within the reach of children as they are sources
of potential hazards.
- Leave children playing and standing beside the machine.
- Use spare parts not recommended by the manufacturing company.
- Make any technical modifi cations to the machine.
- Immerse the machine in any kind of liquid.
- Wash the machine using a water jet.
- Use the machine in any manner other than as described in this manual.
- Use the machine if you are in an altered psychophysical condition especially under the
infl uence of drugs, alcohol, medicine etc.
- Install the machine on top of other appliances.
- Use the machine outdoors.
- Use the machine in explosive or harsh environments, or with high concentration of dust
subject to fi re risk, or oily substances suspended in the air.
- Use the machine to dispense substances other than those it is designed for.
- Put liquid containers on the machine.
- Clog the grills on the side of the machine.
• Before cleaning the machine, make sure the plug is disconnected from the power socket and
the machine is cold; do not wash the machine with fuel and/or solvents of any kind.
• Anytime maintenance is required for the gasket set connecting to the water network, it is
necessary to use a set of new joints as the old ones shall not be used again.
• Each repair can only be performed by a Service Centre Authorised by the Manufacturer and/
or by a specialised and trained personnel.
• Do not place the machine near heating equipment (such as stoves or radiators).
• In case of fi re, use carbon dioxide (CO
guishers.

Stop Functions
The power button is required to perform the stop functions of the machine.

Rating plates
NO RATING PLATES ON THE MACHINE SHOULD BE REMOVED, COVERED OR DAMAGED PARTICU-
