12. AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES

Your CREO SL is compatible with the RE to further increase range and ride time. The RE is securely held in the
recommended bottle cage (Zee Cage II - Right) and the Specialized battery retention band supplied with the RE.
The RE connects to the motor through a dedicated power cable that plugs into the charge port. The low weight of
the RE allows you to carry more REs to boost autonomy. One RE adds 160Wh to the system which lasts for about 1h
of riding in Turbo mode (flat / slight gradient).
Please see your Authorized Specialized Retailer to get your RE(s) and the recommended bottle cage.
USING YOUR RE
Power off your CREO SL bicycle and RE.

Insert the end of the power cable with the rounded cover into the port on the RE (Fig. 12.1 a). The CREO SL

requires the 220mm RE cable to connect to your bicycle.
Clip the cable into the channel located in the RE housing (Fig. 12.1 b).

Install the cage onto the bicycle on the seat tube location according to the instructions supplied with the bottle

cage. Only use the recommended bottle cage (Zee Cage II, Right) for the RE.
Place the spacer, supplied with your CREO SL, between the cage and the frame on the top cage bolt only (Fig.
„
12.2).
All bicycles with the RE mounted to the seat tube require a 2 mm spacer inserted on the top cage bolt
between the frame and the Zee Cage II bottle cage.

Install the RE in the bottle cage.(Fig. 12.3).
