1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Failure to apply safety regulations and procedures is a source of danger and may lead to damage or injury. The
machine is supplied subject to the proper application of the following regulations and procedures by the end user:
1. All the regulations relating to the behaviour of people enshrined in law in the country where the machine is in-
stalled, with particular reference to the electrical plant upstream of the machine, its hook-up and functioning.
2. All the further instructions and warnings related to operating the machine set out graphically in the docu-
ments accompanying the machine.
2. SAFETY DEVICES ( FIG. 8 )
The safety guards and devices fitted to the machine must not be removed. If they need to be removed for the purposes of
extraordinary maintenance, all means shall be used to reduce dangers to a minimum.
The machine is protected by bodywork preventing access to dangerous parts of the machine, except at the front, which is
protected by an interlocking mobile guard protecting the rotating tank.
The machine is fitted with the following safety systems:
1. All dangerous parts are protected by guards screwed into place.
2. The machine (models with fixed head) is fitted with a micro-switch deactivating the spiral when the protecting grill (1) is lifted;
3. When the machine has been shut down by use of one or other safety micro-switch, the machine can be restarted by pressing

3. MACHINE OPERATOR AREAS ( FIG. 9 )
During operation, the machine operator stands in front of the machine in order to add or remove the dough to the tank; see
FIG. 9 positions (O) for authorized positions.
For maintenance purposes, a technician may stand behind the machine, in position T).
