4. NORMAL, IMPROPER AND PROHIBITED OPERATION
The machine described in this Instructions and Operations Handbook is designed for operation by A SOLE MACHINE OPERA-
TOR trained and familiar with remaining risks and all safety procedures, as well as by maintenance personnel.
In NORMAL OPERATION , the machine may be used solely to mix dough, whether hard or soft, flour com
pounds, salts, yeast, fats and liquid.
The machine must not be used IMPROPERLY, i.e.:
1 – it must not be used with operating parameters other than those set out in the TECHNICAL DATA table
2 – for all uses of the machine with parameters other than those specified in this handbook, THE MANUFAC
TURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
3 – the end user is liable for all injuries and damage arising from failure to comply with this Instructions Hand
book
4 – DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE EMPTY
5 – Do not tamper with, remove or cover up any labels on the machine.
The machine must not be used in a way that is PROHIBITED since this could lead to damage or injure the
machine operator.
1 – Do not move the machine while it is plugged in.
2 – Do not unplug the machine by pulling it away from the socket or by pulling on the power cable.
3 – Do not put anything on the machine while it is in operation.
4 – Do not allow the power cable to run across sharp surfaces.
5 – Do not leave the machine unattended while it is in operation.
6 – Do not place anything under the machine base or between the support legs and base.
7 – Do not put anything into the tank other than the foodstuffs specified above (for normal operation).
8 – Do not operate the machine if the guards have been removed.
9 – Do not use risky ingredients for the health of the machine operator or maintenance personnel ; do not
create a potentially explosive environment for which the machine is not designed.
10 – Do not hose down the machine with water or any other liquid.
THE END USER IS LIABLE for any injuries arising from failure to comply with the normal operating conditions

5. WARNINGS ABOUT REMAINING RISKS
The employer shall ensure that personnel is trained in accident prevention, the risks of injury, the use of safety
devices and general regulations to prevent accidents and injury, as specified in Community Directives and the
laws of the country where the machine is installed. In addition, THE END USER IS LIABLE FOR:
1 – organizing training courses, if required in co-operation with the manufacturer, for MACHINE OPERATORS
AND MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.
2 – providing individual protective devices as established by Directive 89/656/EC and subsequent amend
ments.
3 – ensuring that the machine is operated, maintained and cleaned by QUALIFIED personnel.
6. REMAINING RISKS
RISKS FROM NOISE
The machine produces noise at a continuous A equivalent of less than 70 dB.
If necessary, use earplugs or headphones.
