Operating Instruction
1.2 General Safety Information
The following conditions must be adhered
to without fail to ensure safe use of the char-
ging cable:
The vehicle connector must be protec-
ted against humidity and dirt using the
protective cap!
No devices (extension cable, timer
switches, plug adapters) must be fitted
between the charging cable and home
installation.
The charging plug is locked in place
during the charging process. Only the
SCHUKO plug can be pulled out.
The charging cable may only be used
on vehicles that satisfy as a minimum
the requirements of protection class I
(as per DIN VDE 0100) with CAT II and
are compatible with RCD type A (refer
to the operating manual of your electric
vehicle).
It must be ensured that the charging
cable is only used on electrical installati-
ons that have been duly approved.
A damaged charging cable (enclosure
or cable) must be removed from use
immediately.
If an error occurs during the device's
self-test procedure, the charging cable
must not be connected to the vehicle.
If errors occur while the vehicle connec-
tor is inserted, do not touch the vehicle.
Pull the vehicle connector out immedia-
tely and carefully.

Recommendation:
Fit a fire alarm near the socket!
Always observe the warnings in the
operating manual of your electric
vehicle.
Prior to using the charging cable, it must be
carefully inspected for any visible signs of
damage.
Handle your charging cable with
care to ensure that it has a long life!
Do not pull it over edges or
sharp objects.
Do not bend the cable too sharply.
Recommendation:
Connect the device with the socket in
such a way that no unusual mechanical
loads are exerted on the wall socket.
Such mechanical loads can cause dama-
ge to contacts, thus putting the socket at
risk of heat damage.
At temperatures below -32 °C, the charging
cable will not activate. The five LEDs on the
charging current display remain red. Keep
the device in a place with a higher ambient
temperature prior to the charging process.
