5. Maintenance and Care
5.1 Activities
The charging cable must be checked regularly for any visible damage to the cable,
plugs or enclosure. This check must be performed while the cable is unplugged.
Housing:
Perform a visual inspection for defects.
Check that the LED indicator
panel is functional.
Clean the enclosure as needed
using a slightly damp cloth.
Charging Connector:
Check the charging connector for
damage and dirt.

Warning:
If the enclosure, charging cable, charging
connector, plug or socket displays visible
damage, the charging cable must be
removed from use immediately. If a dama-
ged device continues to be used, there is a
risk of electric shock or cable fire.
Never connect a defective charging
cable with a vehicle or socket!

Infrastructure plug:
Check the infrastructure plug
(e.g. SCHUKO® plug, CEE plug...)
for damage and dirt.
Wall socket:
During the charging process, the thermal
stress on the wall socket is very high. If
a socket becomes discolored or it is dis-
proportionately difficult or easy to insert
or remove a plug, it must be checked
by a qualified specialist and replaced if
necessary.
The manufacturer bears no liability for
damages resulting from improper/inap-
propriate use or from the modification,
opening or alteration of the product. Any
manipulation of the charging cable can
lead to critical situations and is therefore
not permitted!
