Operating Instruction
4.3 Mode 2 Charging
Warning:
The use of extension cables is not
permitted. If an extension cable is used,
there is the risk that the cable will burn
as a result of thermal overload.
Always plug the charging cable di-
rectly into the wall socket.
Check which maximum permissible
sustained charging current is specified
for your wall socket.
In case of doubt, ask your electrical
fitter. If you are not sure, charge using a
reduced charging current, e.g. (8 A). Set-
tings are modified using the „up/down"
buttons on the in-cable module.
Ensure that your vehicle is suitable for
mode 2 charging (refer to the operating
manual of your electric vehicle).

4.4 Starting the Charging Process
Connect the plug (e.g. SCHUKO®, CEE)
with the home installation socket. Insert
the plug fully into the wall socket.
The charging system will automatically
perform the following steps:
The wall socket is checked for miswiring
(miswiring detection).
It is also checked to determine if there is
a connection to a ground conductor. If
there is no ground conductor, the house
symbol will light up red. In this case,
charging is not possible!
It checks that the prerequisites for cor-
rect charging have been met. Note the
LED indicators: If a fault has occurred,
the charging process is interrupted. The
fault is indicated by means of a red LED
that either flashes or remains on.
In this case, the charging cable must not be
connected to the vehicle!
