4.3 Operating Modes
The UPS has four different operating modes.
4.3.1. Line operating mode (power within established tolerance limits)

4.3.2. Battery operating mode (power failure)
4.3.3. Alarm mode
In this operating mode, the unit will give off 4 short beeps and one long beep continuously
until the cause of the alarm has been resolved or the alarm is reset by pressing the reset
button

The loads are powered through the UPS unit. The mains power is filte-
red to reduce disturbances and adjusted before being supplied to the
output.
If the batteries are less than 80% charged, the orange BAT indicator
lights up to inform you that the batteries are being recharged.
In the event of a power failure (outside of tolerance limits) the inverter
supplies energy from the batteries to the loads. There is no transfer
time between the change from normal to battery operating mode and
vice versa.
When operating in the battery mode, the unit will beep approximately
once every 15 seconds. When the battery's charge has been reduced
to the minimum, the unit will beep every second.
An alarm is activated under the following circumstances:
· Output overload.
· Temperature alarm
· Battery overvoltage
· Internal failure
