9. Options
9.1 Galvanic isolation
All units in both the tower and rack versions are available on an optional basis with galvanic
isolation to provide greater protection to the connected loads.
This option is built into to the UPS unit.
9.2 SNMP Agent
The ManageUPS Net interface provides SNMP, Web
and Telnet management and makes it possible to com-
municate with the UPS through an Ethernet.

9.4 Multibase extension
A multibase extension is available to connect the UPS to a larger number of loads.
9.5 Cables
9.5.1 Basic model 26- AS400 DB9 communication cable. Code 279095.000
This cable consists of a male input DB9 connector which is connected to the model 61 cable
(see below) and a male output DB9 connector which is connected to different AS400 models
that have this type of connector.
9.5.2 Basic model 27- AS400 DB15 communication cable. Code 279096.000
This cable consists of a male input DB9 connector which is connected to the model 61 cable
(see below) and a male output DB9 connector which is connected to different AS400 models
that have this type of connector.
9.5.3 Basic model 52 communication cable. Code 279133.000
This cable consists of a male input DB9 connector which is connected to the model 61 cable
(see below) and a female output DB9 connector with a pin-to-pin connection. This cable can
be used for the Windows NT UPS service.

9.3 Multicom
The external Multicom module integrates the UPS units
in LIFE 2000 remote monitoring system and provides
multiplexing of the unit's serial port.
