NOTE: the eccentricity measuring programme
cannot be performed on motorcycle wheels.
- Select the MOTO environment using the
icon located in the secondary
control keypad
- select the dynamic balancing programme
directly from the touch screen monitor;
- set the wheel data manually as described in
the "MANUAL ENTRY OF WHEEL DIMENSIONS"
section. To access the environment "manual
entry of wheel dimensions", press the FEED-
BACK WINDOW on the touch screen monitor
in correspondence of the wheel dimensions
from the last spin.
- perform a spin;

- place the adhesive weight in the 12 o'clock

Best results can be achieved if the adhesive
weights are positioned with the outer edge being
flush with the rim edge.
Split Weight Programme
Some rims have spokes so wide that it is not
possible to place adhesive weights next to them;
a program which divides the counterweights
into two parts has been introduced to solve
this problem.
In this case, when the centred position is reached
and it becomes obvious that the balancing weight
will have to be applied in line with a spoke,
62
proceed as follows:
- Remain in the centred position.
- the machine will display the split weight
button on the main working
screen;
- press the
alternatively displays the possible spoke
dimensions: small
, large
(selection disabled);
- simultaneously, after selecting the spoke
type the machine will display the two new
counterweights to be applied;
- apply two new counterweights in the positions
indicated at 12 o'clock.
The weight division operations can be performed
on both balancing sides.
