ders with care and weld as far away from them as possible.
WELDING IN TANKS WHICH MAY CONTAIN THE TRACES OF INFLAMMABLE MATERIALS
INSIDE, INVOLVES A HIGH RISK OF EXPLOSION. Ensure expert and qualified personnel have chec-
ked the facility is safe to work in and have prepared the same correctly.
ELECTROMAGNETIC DISTURBANCES
Electromagnetic interferences produced by welding equipment may interfere in the operation
of equipment which is sensitive to this kind of interference (computers, robots etc).Ensure
that all the equipment in the welding area is resistant to electromagnetic radiation. In order to reduce ra-
diation as much as possible work with welding wires as short as possible, placed in parallel on the floor
if possible. Work at a distance of 100 metres or more from equipment which is sensitive to disturbances.
Ensure that the machine equipment is correctly earthed. If there are interference problems despite ha-
ving taken the above described precautionary measures, the operator must take extra measures such
as moving the welding machine, and the use of filters or protected cables to ensure that interference with
other equipment does not occur.
RAEE
This symbol indicates that at the end of the useful life of the equipment it should be taken to
a recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. For more information on the recy-
cling of this product contact your local recycling centre.

GENERAL DESCRIPTIONS

ICON welding equipment with INVERTER SOLTER technology attains strength and flexibility with a com-
pact, lightweight form.
Universal application is possible to any type of welding materials - as diverse as stainless steel, alloyed
steels, aluminum (ICON 2070 DIGICEL PRO) or other types of steel, etc.
Body housing design. The DDR (Dual Density Reinforcement) System
The body housing is manufactured with highly resistant materials, and has special ergonomic characte-
ristics which lend robustness due to the double injection DDR, Dual Density Reinforcement System, pa-
tented by SOLTER.
The double rubber injection is used for three basic functions. First to obtain a pleasant, non-slippery feel
to the handle. The double injection is also used to integrate feet and lateral protections on the base of
the equipment, promoting the stability of the machine on slippery surfaces, and finally, on the non-visi-
ble part of the equipment, it reinforces the support of the electronic circuit protecting it from accidental
blows.
Control panel design
The control panel has been designed in order to make the parameter modification intuitive and rapid. You
do not have to remember long sequences in order to modify the equipment parameters - this improves
the range of equipment use.
Total protection
The equipment possesses all the protection systems necessary to guarantee correct operation.
Temperature sensors guarantee that the components are maintained within operational margins.
The supervision of the electrical supply guarantees that the equipment functions within the established
margins and if these are exceeded it will disconnect in order to avoid possible damage.
Ventilation
The equipment possesses an intelligent ventilation system which will only be activated if the equipment
is being used or if the internal temperature is high. This avoids dust gathering on the machine and re-
duces the frequency of maintenance periods. Users should still be careful with respect to the production
of metallic dust and particles while using the equipment.
Automatic disconnection
The equipment has a protective automatic disconnection system which switches on after being at rest
for 10 minutes, the equipment automatically switches back on when welding is continued.
