CAUSE
Inverse polarity.
Excessively high welding current.
Defective earth connection.
CAUSE

CAUSE
The arc is not high enough for the
equipment to detect it.
Excessively long ramp-down.
The electrode is too far away from the part on
starting the arc.
The sensitivity is too high.
ACCESSORIES
Accessories which are compatible with the equipment must always be used with the equipment. Con-
necting non-compatible or defective accessories may cause serious damage to the equipment. We re-
commend the use of SOLTER original accessories.

The arc does not ignite with electrode welding.

Do not activate the ramp-off inTIG ASD mode.
In TIG ASD mode. The arc goes out immediately after lighting up.

Check the polarity for the electrode in question recommen-
ded by the manufacturer.
Check the current recommended for the electrode in use.
Check the earth connection. Clean the same if dirty or oxi-
dized.
Check the gas flow and if it is 100% Argon.
Check the polarity is torch negative.
Check the procedure is being conducted correctly.
Increase the arc.
Reduce arc height on the sensitivity.
Set to a lower time.
Place it 1 to 2 mm away.
Lower the sensitivity.
