Special parameters
The special functions settings menu is accessed by pressing the mode selector button for 4 seconds
until F.00 appears on the display screen. Use the mode selector button and dial to change the values.
Finally, select the "END" function and press the mode selector button; the equipment will return to its
normal position when welding begins or after a while.
F00
Password to grant access to functions nº 11 and nº12. Select value "102".
With OFF mode selected, the equipment will turn off the user interface when it has not
F01
been used for 10 minutes, the equipment will return to normal operation when you start
welding again.

SOLTER ICON equipments with PFC technology automatically reduced the maximum output welding
current in order to prevent excessive consumption in AC power networks whose voltage is below
190Vac. The maximum welding input voltage is reduced gradually from 190 VAC to 85 VAC.
The maximum input RMS consumption current cannot overpass 22A (rms) independently from AC
power network, therefore, power network overload is prevented.
The maximum welding current is different for TIG and MMA processes. When limiting mode is activa-
ted, main display blinks showing the maximum welding current at which the equipment is able to
weld. The equipment will not allow you to select upper values. In the following table, you will be able to
find the maximum welding current as function of supplying input voltage for the most common input
voltage ranges. The following table illustrates the corresponding maximum configurable amperage va-
lues for the most common power network voltages.
