The control switch has different functions:
-Turn right/left: Used for the selection of the parameter to be modified (fixed parameter pilot), in order
to modify the parameter value (parameter pilot flashing) or to select the operational mode. Do not turn
sharply.
-Short pulse: To begin the modification of a parameter, validate its modification or validate a working
mode.
-Long pulse (2 seconds): To modify the working mode of the equipment. To further facilitate use, the
equipment will always activate the modification of parameter I1 (welding current) when welding has star-
ted or after a period when the control has not been used.

Error indication

This indicator lights up if a problem arises with the equipment. For more information see pro-
blems and defects.
Parameters cannot be modified if the equipment indicates a problem.

Select a parameter
Parameter selection is made by simply turning the mode selector button to the right or left, do not move
the mode selector button sharply, turn it smoothly to feel the positions.
If the control is not touched for several seconds or if welding has begun, the equipment will auto-
matically activates the modification mode of I1 parameter. In this case, press for a short period to
accept the parameter data and be able to select a new parameter.
