Adjustment mode

1. Press and hold the [ ADJ ] button for 1 sec-
ond or longer to switch to the adjustment
selection display.
2. Press the [
]/[ ] button to select the "item
name".

light on, the [ ENT ] button must be pressed
to display the setting value.
3. Turn the [ /VOL/MODE ] rotary knob to se-
lect the "desired setting value".
Notes:
Items in bracket (PTY, PTY SEL, AF, REG and
SRCH) are called RDS mode adjustment. It will
only available for selection during Radio mode.
"PTY SEL" only available when "PTY ON".
"REG" only available when "AF ON".
Clock Format
Toggle between 12 or 24 hour format for clock
display.
1. Select "CLK 12H" or "CLK 24H".
[ /VOL/MODE ]
2. Turn the rotary knob to select
"CLK 12H" or "CLK 24H".

Clock Adjustment
This settings allows the user to adjust the clock
manually.
1. Select "CLK ADJ".
2. Press the [ENT] button.
3. Press the [ ]/[
minute adjustment.

PTY
This function enables you to listen to a broadcast
of the selected programme type even if the unit is
on a function mode other than radio.
* Some countries do not yet have PTY
broadcast.
* In the TA standby mode, a TP station has
priority over a PTY broadcast station.

3-1. Turn the [ /VOL/MODE ] rotary knob to select
"ON" or "OFF".
ON:
"PTY" in the display lights and PTY standby mode
is turned on. When the selected PTY broadcast
starts, the PTY item name appears in the display.
OFF:
"PTY" in the display goes off and PTY standby
mode is cancelled.
Canceling a PTY interrupt broadcast
Push the [ TA ] button during the PTY interrupt
broadcast, the PTY interrupt is cancelled and
the unit returns to PTY standby mode.
