4. NOMENCLATURE

Names of the Buttons and their Functions

rotary knob
[ / VOL/MODE ]
Push the rotary knob to turn ON power.
During power on, push the rotary knob for
more than 1 second to turn OFF power.
During power on, push the rotary knob to
switch to different source mode.
Adjust the volume by turning the rotary knob
clockwise or counterclockwise.
Adjust the audio value by turning the rotary
knob during Audio Mode Function.
Adjust setting by turning the rotary knob
during ADJ Mode Function.
[ ] button
Eject a CD when it is loaded into the unit.
[ CD SLOT ]
Slot for CD insertion.
[ ] button
Select the previous Folder (MP3/WMA disc
or USB only).
[ ] button
Select the next Folder (MP3/WMA disc or
USB only).
[AUDIO] button
Short press the button to select audio
adjustment.
Long press to toggle VAPS ON/OFF.
[ ] button
Seek a station while in the Tuner mode,
select previous track when listening to a CD/
USB/iPod/BT Audio.
Press and hold the button for 1 second or
longer to auto seek down in Tuner mode and
enter the fast-backward in CD/USB/iPod/BT
Audio mode.

Seek a station while in the Tuner mode,
select next track when listening to a CD/USB/
iPod/BT Audio.
Press and hold the button for 1 second or
longer to auto seek up in Tuner mode and
enter the fast-forward in CD/USB/iPod/BT
Audio mode.
[ INTERNAL MIC ]
Activated in Telephone mode for mobile
phone handsfree calling.
[ DISP ] / [ ADJ ] button
Switch the display in TUNER,CD(MP3/WMA)/
USB/IPOD/BT AUDIO and AUX mode.
Press and hold the button for 1 second or
longer to enter Adjustment mode.
[ ] / [ ENT ] button
Play or pause a track while in the CD/USB/
iPod/BT Audio mode.
Perform second level adjustment or selection.
Perform preset scan while in the Tuner mode.
Press and hold the button for 1 second or
longer to perform auto store.
[ BAND ] button
Switch the band, or seek tuning or manual
tuning while in the Tuner mode.
Press and hold button for 1 second or longer
to toggle DX/LO seek in the Tuner mode.
Play the first track while in the CD or USB
mode.
Press and hold the button for 1 second or
longer to select CD-DA or MP3/WMA on a
Multi-session disc.
Press to enter iPod menu category in iPod
mode.
