Adjustment procedures
2. Remove hot-wire mounting screw 5 .
Replace hot wire 6 with a new one and
attach the latter with hot-wire mounting
screw 5 .
Attach the hot wire while arranging so
that the center of heat cutter unit 3 and
the center of hot wire 6 are aligned.
Be aware that faulty thread trimming
can occur if the hot wire is not properly
arranged.
3. Attach hot-wire unit 3 on arm 1 . If
the center of hot wire 6 is not aligned
with the needle, loosen terminal block
mounting screw 7 and align the center
of hot wire with the needle.
Adjustment procedures
1. Turn the power OFF.
2. Discharge air.
3. Remove the needle hole guide.
4. Extrude the hot wire as far as it goes.
Adjust screw 1 so that the top end of
hot wire is aligned with and in parallel
to the front edge line of the block.
5. Turn ON the air supply.
6. Turn ON the power to the sewing ma-
chine.
7. Adjust the sensor position so that the
standby side sensor of the cylinder is
turned ON when the heat cutter rests at
its standby position.
8. Adjust the sensor position so that the
extruded side sensor is turned ON
when the hot wire is extruded the most.
