 Remote ONlOFF enabling (SCR)
IMPORTANT!
When the unit is switched OFF using the remote
control selector, the message "OFF by digital input"
appear on the on board control panel display.
Remove the terminal jumper corresponding to SCR on the machine
terminal block (see wiring diagram) and connect the wires coming from
the remote control ON/OFF selector (selector to be installed by the
installer).

 Domestic hot water diverter valve control (CACS)
Consent for the domestic hot water diverter valve CACS can be
managed either with the temperature probe or digital contact. Change
the relative software parameters according to the selected DHW
management control (see Electronic Control Manual). The logic for the
digital contact is the following:

 RC100lDS (RC100lDS) consent management
The RC100 recovery unit or DS desuperheater consent can be
managed with digital contact. Connect the cables coming from the
RC100 or DS selector to the terminal corresponding to RC100/DS on
the machine terminal block.

 Shifting Set-point (CS) management
The shifting Set-Point is managed by an external 4-20mA signal
supplied by the user. Follow the indications on the wiring diagram
supplied with the machine. Also change the relative software
parameters (see Electronic Control Manual).
 LBG-LFC1-LFC2 remote control
To remotely control the two signals, connect the two lamps according to
the instructions provided in the wiring diagram supplied with the
machine (voltage consent 230 Vac, maximum load 0.5A AC1).

ENERGY SAVING SYSTEM PUMP CONTROL

The unit manages the pump unit, striving for the highest energy savings. When the machine reaches the set point and the regulator detects that the
thermal/cooling load is null, the pump is turned off for a set time (5'). Following regular intervals of time (5'), the pump is turned back on for some
seconds (60"). If, in these situations, it is necessary to activate the compressor, the unit starts generating heating/cooling capacity again. Otherwise, the
pump is turned off to wait for the following cycle. The times can be changed from a parameter under the maintenance menu (see the manual of the
electronic control).

Remote management using accessories
supplied loose
It is possible to remotely control the machine by connecting a second
keypad (accessory KTR) to the keypad on the machine. The use and
installation of remote control systems are described in the Instruction
Sheet attached to them.

WATER CONNECTIONS

II.7.1

CONNECTION TO THE SYSTEM

IMPORTANT!
The layout of the water system and connection of
the system to the unit must be carried out in
conformity with local and national rules in force.
IMPORTANT!
It is advisable to install shut-off valves that isolate
the unit from the rest of the system. Mesh filters
with a square section (longest side = 0.8 mm), of a
suitable size and pressure drop for the system,
must be installed. Clean the filter from time to time.
IMPORTANT!
The expansion tank on the machine is sufficient to
protect the unit. The installer is in charge of sizing
and installing the system's expansion tank.
○ The unit is designed for outdoor installation.
○ The unit must be positioned to comply with the minimum
recommended technical spaces, bearing in mind the access to water
and electrical connections.
○ The unit is equipped with male threaded hydraulic connections and
manual air vent valve placed inside the cabinet.
○ It is advisable to install cut-off valves that isolate the unit from the
rest of the system and elastic connection joints.
○ It is mandatory to install a square metal mesh filter (longest side =
0.8 mm) of adequate size and pressure drops for the system on the unit
return pipes.
○ The expansion tank on the machine has limited capacity to protect
the hydraulic circuit inside the machine.
○ The water flow through the heat exchanger must respect the
MAXIMUM/MINIMUM values indicated in the "Operating limits" section.
○ It is advisable to drain the water from the system during long periods
of inactivity.
○ It is possible to avoid draining the water by adding ethylene glycol to
the water circuit (see Protecting the unit from frost).
○ Installing an air bleed valve is recommended.
○ Once the connections to the unit are made, check that none of the
pipes leak, and bleed the air from the system.
