PROBLEM SOLVING.
POSSIBLE FAULT
It is recommended the Installer Tables, provided with the equipment,
are used to enable the work of relating call codes with their
corresponding dwellings.
The following formula will be applied to calculate the calls codes
in any module:
Call Code = Pushbutton No. + [(Module No. -1) x 6]
Call Code: This is the call code that will correspond to the
pushbutton for which the calculation is performed.
Pushbutton N°: This is the number of the pushbutton (PUL1 to
PUL6) within the module for which the calculation is performed.
Module No.: This is the number of the module according to its
position in the street panel. Module 1 is the one following the
audio control group, the rest being numbered in a correlative
manner (see the figure above).
This section explains the ways to solve incidents that may occur
during the installation, maintenance and repair of digital Guinaz
systems.
However, our Technical Assistance Service is always available for
you to solve any doubt or problem that may arise.
START-UP. Before connecting the entire system regarding the
installation, check the following points:
• Each telephone or monitor will have its dwelling number
configured by means of its microswitches.
• The number, type, etc. of street panels will have been configured
by means of their microswitches.
• Each video distribution line will have the appropriate impedance
according to the type of cable used in the installation (75 ohm
coaxial cable; 100 ohm cat. 5 twisted pair cable). If this is not
so, check the configuration of the bridges in monitors and
cameras and the line end resistance in the distributors.
• Check lines 1, 2 and 3 do not short-circuit each other, both in
internal buses and in the external bus.
