Preventing damage to the appliance

■ If the appliance is overheating, switch it off and allow it to cool down to room
temperature.
■ Do not stand on the appliance.
■ Impacts to the grill surface can damage the appliance. Do not store anything
above the appliance.
■ Do not use the appliance surface to peel or cut vegetables or fruit. Fine dirt
particles and hard utensils can damage the surface of the appliance.
■ Do not use the appliance surface as a storage surface. Never place any
flammable materials such as cardboard or plastic packaging on the appliance
surface.
■ When cleaning the grill, ensure that no water penetrates the inside of the
appliance. Use only a moist cloth. Do not splash the appliance with water or
clean it with a steam cleaner. Penetrating water can damage the appliance!
