3.2 Button Control Functions

The balance is operated using two multi-function buttons located on the front of the
balance. Button labels indicate the functions of each button. Operation of the buttons
is described in these instructions according to the function being performed.

3.3 Application Modes

The Adventurer SL balance includes Weigh, Count, and Percent application modes.
To use these application modes, they must be turned on (SET ON) in the Mode Sub-
menu. The default mode, Weigh, has been SET ON at the factory. The other modes
are SET OFF.
3.3.1 Weigh Mode
Use the Weigh Mode to determine weight using a selected unit of measure. Several
units of measure are available, including grams. The balance will weigh only in
grams until other units of measure are SET ON in the Unit Sub-menu (See Section
3.5.4).
On/Zero
• Turns balance On.
• If balance is On, sets Zero
Off
• If balance is Off,
enters Menu.
• If balance is On,
turns balance Off.
Yes
• Enter the Menu or Sub-
menu option displayed.
• Accepts the current setting
on the display.
Mode/Unit
• Changes to the next
enabled mode or unit.

Mode/Unit
• Cycles through the loop of
enabled modes and units.
No
• Cycles through Menu,
Sub-menu, or Setting
options.
• Press and hold to exit
Menu or Sub-menu, or
abort Calibration.
