INSTALL USING LATCH: 5–35 lb (2.3–15.8 kg)
DO NOT install by this method for a child weighing
more than 35 lb (15.8 kg). Reinstall with vehicle belt
for weights between 35–50 lb (15.8–22.7 kg).
1. Install detachable rear-facing base. Align posts
as shown in GREY by aligning the color coded
dots. Slide the base into place to align the dots
blue-to-blue, yellow-to-yellow. Once aligned,
press the lever shown into the seat base to engage.
Confirm base is locked and does not move.

2. Remove LATCH strap from
storage location 1 on back of
seat. Use LATCH release on
LATCH connectors and pull
up to remove.
3. Extend the LATCH strap. For
easier installation, extend the
LATCH strap to its maximum
length by pressing the grey
button and pulling on the strap.
4. Place LATCH strap for access
to rear-facing belt path.
From back of seat, unfasten
the right side of the cover
from seat shell. Feed LATCH
connectors down, keeping
under the cover and out the
bottom. Once completed,
refasten the cover to seat
shell.
